The announcement followed negotiations between an Ethiopian delegation, headed by Foreign Minister Yemek Mekonnen, and the authorities in Sudan. According to the Ethiopian Foreign Ministry spokesman, Dina Mufti, the border dispute between the two countries is to be resolved peacefully, through dialogue.
