Former middle school teacher, James Talarico has commented many times on the struggles of trying to make a living as a teacher.
Public school teachers have a lot of variables that go into their salary. Including the school district they are working in, education, certifications, additional skills, the number of years you have spent in your profession, etc.
The average Public School Teacher salary in Texas is
$57,912 as of February 26, 2021, but the range typically falls between
$50,556 and
$66,858.
The goal for Talarico is to get Texas teachers more money, since they are close to 6 thousand dollars under the national average.
The bill filed aims to get teachers a minimum salary of $70,000. He goes on to explain why he chose $70,000 as the minimum

It was shared by news sources from all around. Even CNN covered it!
Well, almost a year later, 86 year-old Rose Gagnon finally got to hug her great grandkids, no plastic necessary. Rose ditched the viral pandemic hack and gave some fully vaccinated hugs.
