Ghislaine Maxwell seeks legal fees from alleged Epstein victim

© Getty Images Ghislaine Maxwell, the British socialite accused of trafficking underage girls for deceased sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, is attempting to block an alleged victim from receiving restitution and demanding she pay her legal fees, according to an ABC News report. The anonymous victim, referred to as Jane Doe, had accepted an offer from the Epstein Victims Compensation Program to dismiss her charges against the estate and any Epstein associates in exchange for restitution, ABC reported. Doe, 40, and the executors of the program had agreed to end litigation when Maxwell’s legal team objected, arguing they require unredacted copies of the agreements that have been signed in order to confirm Maxwell is free from future liability.
