1 firefighter dead, 3 others injured following New Haven house fire

One firefighter is dead and three others injured after a fire erupted at a two-family home in New Haven. According to officials, the call for the fire came in around 12:45 a.m. New Haven Fire Chief John Alston said the fire was elevated to a second alarm.  Two occupants of the home were rescued including a tenant on the second floor and an 84-year-old property owner on the first floor. Officials said the woman was taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation but her injuries are non-life-threatening. The second-floor occupant was treated at the scene.

The concert will be Monday, May 24, at 7:00 p.m. at the Collins Theatre, 120 West Emerson Street, in downtown Paragould, Arkansas. Seth Mulder and Midnight Run are based in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Beginning in 2015, the group served as the “house band” at the Ole Smoky Moonshine Distillery, a popular tourist destination in downtown Gatlinburg. Prior to the pandemic, the band was performing about 225 concerts each year. In addition to performing at bluegrass venues and festivals across the country, the group has toured Europe, played on bluegrass-themed tours on cruise ships, and played at the Station Inn in Nashville, Tennessee.
