Chief Medical Officer Dr Roshan Parasram says the three children warded at the Couva Hospital are stable.
Speaking at the virtual covid19 press conference on Saturday morning, he said two were suffering from multi-system inflammatory syndrome in children (MIS-C) and one was immuno-compromised. He added that they were not in the high dependency unit or the intensive care unit.

This Christmas, due to the covid19 restrictions the club was unable to decorate the ward. Instead, members decided to light up two trees at the hospital. On December 5 the lights were officially turned on by club president Curtis A Gopie and Beth Castillo, assistant to the property manager at EWMSC.
