BUFFALO, N.Y. A New Year s Eve chase that ended in a crash involving three vehicles has led to a Buffalo Police officer s suspension.
Buffalo Police Captain Jeff Rinaldo confirmed Saturday that Officer Majed Ottman has been suspended following a crash that led to minor injuries to four people, including his partner, who was in the passenger seat.
The Buffalo Police Department has a no-chase policy. A police investigation into the crash is now underway.

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) â It was just after 5:00 p.m. Christmas night, when Kimberly Weston and her boyfriend Nathan Grammer took a walk on Middlesex near Lincoln Parkway in Buffalo to look at Christmas lights.
âThe female victim was in a wheelchair and her boyfriend was pushing her down the street because of the amount of snowfall,â said Buffalo Police Captain Jeff Rinaldo. âThe sidewalks and handicap access on the curbs was not available due to the snow so they had to take to the streets,â he said.

Three people were killed in a car accident on the afternoon of Monday, December 28, 2020. The two-vehicle accident happened where Genesee Street intersects with Kilhoffer Street in Buffalo, according to WKBW. The Buffalo Police Department said the victims were two men and a woman,
BPD say three people are deceased in connection with a two vehicle accident at Genesee St. & Kilhoffer just before 1pm. Police say other victims have been transported to hospitals. Motorists should avoid the area & use alternate routes.
A pedestrian was injured by debris from the accident. An 18-year-old in one of the vehicles was taken to Erie County Medical Center. Both suffered serious injuries according to Buffalo Police Captain Jeff Rinaldo.
