A 70-year-old man from Pennsylvania pleaded guilty to casting an illegal ballot for former President Donald Trump during the 2020 election and was sentenced to five years of probation on Friday.
Bruce Bartman, of Delaware County, Pennsylvania, admitted to casting the illegal vote in his dead mother s name and told a court Friday that it was a stupid mistake. I was isolated last year in lockdown, Bartman said to Common Pleas Court Judge George Pagano, according to the

DELAWARE COUNTY, PA A Delaware County man was hit with a probation sentence after he admitted to illegally voting for former President Donald Trump in the general election last year.
Delaware County District Attorney Jack Stollsteimer said Bruce Bartman, 70, of Marple Township, was sentenced to five years of probation on two counts of felony perjury and one count of unlawful voting.
In addition to probation, Bartman will lose his right to vote for four years.

Bruce Bartman, 70, apologized to Common Pleas Court Judge Richard Cappelli during a hearing in Media, saying he took full responsibility for his actions.
“I was isolated last year in lockdown,” Bartman said. “I listened to too much propaganda and made a stupid mistake.”
Bartman, who lives in Marple Township, entered a guilty plea Friday to two counts of perjury and one count of unlawful voting. In addition to his probation, he is unable to vote in an election for four years, and is no longer eligible to serve on a jury.
