Reply 2021-04-28 On April 25, 2021, at approximately 3:16 A.M., officers from the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) responded to a shooting call for service in the 2100 block of Delta Drive. When officers arrived on scene, they located a deceased adult male with an apparent gunshot wound. Detectives from CSPD s Homicide/Assault Unit responded and assumed responsibility for the investigation. Subscribe On April 26, 2021, the El Paso County Coroner s Office completed the autopsy of the male victim.  The victim has been identified as 34-year-old Quatrel Weeden of Colorado Springs. While the Coroner s Office will make the official cause and manner of death determination, this death is being investigated as a homicide and continues to be an active investigation.  Further details will be released in the future as appropriate.
