6 virus deaths, increase in hospitalizations reported in El Paso

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) The El Paso Department of Public Health announced six new coronavirus-related death and 147 new cases Thursday morning.
El Paso County s pandemic death toll now stands at 2,491, with 68 additional suspected Covid-19 deaths being investigated by the health department.
There are 2,457 known active cases, which is 51 fewer than Wednesday.
There are 180 Covid-19 patients in El Paso hospitals, which marks an increase of 16. There are 56 patients in the intensive care unit.
Since the start of the pandemic, there have been 131,898 confirmed cases in El Paso with 126,815 reported recoveries.

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) The El Paso Department of Public Health announced 16 coronavirus-related deaths and 223 new cases Thursday morning.
The health department acknowledged that these deaths happened over a span of the past five months.
The latest victims were identified as:
2 – females in their 40s
1 – male in his 60s
1 – female in her 60s
3 – females in their 70s
2 – males in their 70s
3 – males in their 80s
2 – females in their 80s
1 – female in her 90s
1 – male in his 90s
The pandemic death toll now stands at 2,458 with an additional 84 suspected Covid-19 deaths under investigation.
Active cases rise again as El Paso reports 9 virus deaths

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) The El Paso Department of Public Health announced nine new coronavirus-related deaths and 184 new cases Wednesday morning.
The latest deaths included 2 men in their 40s, 2 men and a woman in their 60s, a man in his 70s, a man and a woman in their 80s, and a woman in her 90s.
The pandemic death toll in El Paso now stands at 2,442, with 87 additional suspected Covid-19 deaths currently under investigation by local health officials.
The number of known active cases now stands at 2,259, which is an increase of 56 from Tuesday.
