Credit: KTVB Author: KTVB Staff Updated: 1:46 PM MST March 12, 2021 ELMORE COUNTY, Idaho The Elmore County Sheriff s Office says a man recently arrested on a charge of having sexual contact with a child may have additional victims.  Daniel James Durham, 39, was arrested in February on a charge of felony lewd conduct with a minor. The crime happened between Oct. 1, 2018 and December 25, 2018, officials say. Durham was taken into custody on a warrant, then released from the Elmore County Jail on a $20,000 bond. A mugshot for Durham was not immediately available.

$176,000 in Grants Awarded to Four Alabama Counties to Assist with Domestic Violence Victims

Alabama News Grant funds of $25,000 will help the  Crenshaw County Commission continue its work through the Crenshaw County Sheriff’s Office of arresting perpetrators of domestic violence and protecting victims. The office’s domestic violence officers will also attend public meetings to educate residents about signs of abuse and how to ask for assistance. Local matching funds of $8,333 will supplement the grant. The  Elmore County Commission is using grant funds of $151,000 to continue the work of the 19 th Circuit Domestic Violence Unit, made up of the Elmore County Commission, Elmore County Sheriff’s Office and the District Attorney’s Office. The unit investigates and prosecutes violent crimes against women and maintains partnerships to serve victims of domestic violence in Autauga, Chilton and Elmore counties. Local matching funds of $50,333 will supplement the grant.

BOISE Three members of the Idaho Army National Guard were killed when a Black Hawk helicopter went down just south of Lucky Peak Reservoir near Boise on Tuesday, and a commander said at a news conference Wednesday that there was no “mayday” or other type of distress call prior to the crash. The crash occurred just after 8 p.m. Tuesday, according to a news release from the Idaho National Guard. The three killed were participating in a “routine training flight,” and they were the only people on board the UH-60 Black Hawk.
