Biden surge: 3,500 migrants caught at border daily, ‘I’m scared at what’s coming’ Print this article
The surge of illegal immigrants has hit a near two-year high driven by indications that the Biden administration is opening the border wider than it was under former President Barack Obama, according to new border figures.
What’s more, indications are that it will jump even further once the administration unveils its full immigration agenda aimed at overturning former President Donald Trump’s border closing that cut daily captures and returns to a recent 1,100 a day.
Former acting Customs and Border Protection Commissioner Mark Morgan told Secrets that the data he has seen show that the daily average of illegal crossers is 3,000 and that “the day before, they reached 3,500 in a single day.”
Judge Temporarily Blocks Biden Deportation Freeze

In Texas, U.S. District Judge Drew Tipton issued a 14 day restraining order on President Biden’s executive order to halt certain deportations for 100 days, blocking the deportation pause after Texas Attorney Gen. Ken Paxton challenged the rule.
The order is the first setback on immigration policy for the Biden administration, which has proposed an ambitious plan to legalize approximately 11 million illegal aliens, offer eight-year pathways to citizenship, and dramatically increase refugee and temporary worker visas. Last week, the administration also issued an order that halts all U.S.–Mexico border barrier construction.
Heritage Foundation now ground zero on immigration by adding Ken Cuccinelli, Mark Morgan, and Chad Wolf Print this article
The Heritage Foundation has wasted no time in becoming the top conservative influence on homeland security and immigration policy, today announcing that it has scooped up former President Donald Trump’s team that designed and implemented border changes.
The GOP’s go-to policy house named former acting Homeland Security Secretary Chad Wolf, former acting Deputy Homeland Security Secretary Ken Cuccinelli, and former acting Customs and Border Protection Commissioner Mark Morgan as fellows to its Davis Institute for National Security and Foreign Policy.

Border Wall Contractors Told to Stop Construction by Tuesday Night: Congressman
All Customs and Border Protection (CPB) construction on the U.S.-Mexico border wall will stop by the end of Tuesday, according to a Democratic congressman whose district is located along the border.
“I received notification that in accordance with President [Joe] Biden’s executive order, all CPB contractors have now been formally notified by CBP Procurement to pause construction activities on CBP self-executed projects,” Rep. Henry Cuellar (D-Texas) said in a statement. “While CBP cannot speak on behalf of the U.S. Department of Defense or U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), it is expected that DOD and USACE are undertaking parallel action on CBP-funded border wall projects that they are overseeing.”
