Several Twin Lakes Area school districts that took old-fashioned snow days will have to make those days up at the end of the school year, administrators said Friday afternoon.
As last week s snowfall rolled in, the Mountain Home School District opted to declare last Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday as snow days, with no assignments required through online virtual learning.
The Yellville-Summit School District did almost the reverse, requiring students to complete schoolwork online Monday through Wednesday before declaring Thursday and Friday as snow days.
The Norfork School District, which has a four-day school week, opted for snow days Monday and Wednesday and virtual learning days Tuesday and Thursday.
