N.C. couple charged with murder of pregnant woman found in suitcase

Two people have been arrested in the case involving a pregnant woman found in a suitcase.
Brittany Simone Smith was reported missing earlier this month until her body was found on Monday stuffed in a suitcase. Authorities in North Carolina have arrested two individuals who they believe are the suspects, according to
Thomas Clayton Johnson, 37, and
Emmalei Grace Trevathan, 24, during a traffic stop on Wednesday for their alleged involvement in the murder. They are being held at the Wake County Detention Center.
A former Thales Academy physical education teacher Paula Stinson is under investigation by the Wake County Sheriff's Office after being accused of misconduct by the private school.

TEACHER AT ONE OF BOB LUDDY S PRIVATE SCHOOLS CHARGED WITH INDECENT LIBERTIES: A former physical education teacher has been charged with four counts of indecent liberties with a child. Paula Stinson, 30, taught at Thales Academy in Rolesville. Thales Academy says that Stinson is no longer employed with them. Mrs. Stinson has been terminated as an employee of Thales Academy, effective immediately. Thales Leadership is actively communicating with the Wake County Sheriff’s Office and cooperating with their investigation, the school said in a statement. Stinson is in custody with a $75,000 bond.
