EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - The Evansville Museum of Arts, History & Science invites the Tri-State community to share their COVID-19 pandemic experiences through a community created art installation that will be on display at the Museum.
Window to the Tri-State: The Communityâs COVID-19 Experience will be on display in the Eykamp Pavilion from June 4 to Oct 3, 2021.
Community members of all ages are invited to submit their own perspectives of the COVID-19 pandemic, both positive and negative, as works of art or a written submission on individual project cards which will then be incorporated into the final installation.

A retired nonprofit executive, Miller agreed to fill the position after the museum s development director Jalessa Slade left for family reasons. Slade had been interim director while the museum board sought a replacement for former director Ashley Jordan, who took a job at Cincinnati’s National Underground Railroad Freedom Center last August.
Miller is an Evansville native who returned to the city in 2017 after retiring from his career in nonprofits in Los Angeles. He served as director of Goodwill Industries of Southern California and worked for nonprofits for employment training and homelessness. We have some great new exhibits, he said of the museum.
