NOCPPO to hold simultaneous BARANGAYanihan May 1 Philippine Information Agency 28 Apr 2021, 20:38 GMT+10 NEGROS OCCIDENTAL, April 28 (PIA) Taking inspiration from the community pantry concept, the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (NOCPPO), along with its different stations in cities and municipalities in the province, is set to hold a simultaneous BARANGAYanihan on May 1. The Philippine National Police dubbed this similar initiative BARANGAYanihan, where police stations set up a community pantry outside their stations or in different barangays within their station s jurisdictions on a schedule basis. BARANGAYanihan was first started in Escalante City Police Station and Toboso Municipal Police Stations on April 20, 2021 followed by Sagay CPS, Murcia MPS and Sipalay CPS, soon after.
