CBS Philadelphia 5/4/2021 Syndicated Local – CBS Philly
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) Big changes are coming to Philadelphia’s largest COVID-19 vaccination site. Today is the last day you can walk into the FEMA-run clinic at the Pennsylvania Convention Center to get your first dose of the Pfizer vaccine.
It’s the last call for people to get their first dose of the Pfizer vaccine at the Pennsylvania Convention Center at 12th and Arch Streets.
“Philly’s done a really good job of rolling it. I made an appointment last night,” Jeff Reinhart said. “Normalcy. Hopefully, get back out for the summer and fall. That’s pretty much where my head’s at now.”

They applied in early March and are awaiting a response any day. The group said it would aim to get vaccines to both Black and Latino Philadelphians.

Rodriguez said his family has felt the pain of a COVID-19 death, losing a close family member to the virus. He said his family, who are all essential workers, are relieved to be getting vaccinated.
