A Centre man is accused of running when Glencoe police attempted a traffic stop, and leading officers on a chase that ended in a fiery single-vehicle crash, Etowah County Drug Enforcement Unit Commander Randall Johnson said. Drugs were recovered from the wrecked vehicle.
Eddy J. Hill, 47, was charged with one count of trafficking methamphetamine, and misdemeanor charges of possession of marijuana, criminal mischief and attempting to elude police. He was released on $77,000 bond.
