Whitney Nicole Reeves, from Gallant, has been charged with the felony of chemical endangerment of exposing a child to an environment in which controlled substances are ingested, produced or distributed, WIAT reported. 

Centre man charged after Glencoe chase ends in crash

A Centre man is accused of running when Glencoe police attempted a traffic stop, and leading officers on a chase that ended in a fiery single-vehicle crash, Etowah County Drug Enforcement Unit Commander Randall Johnson said. Drugs were recovered from the wrecked vehicle. Eddy J. Hill, 47, was charged with one count of trafficking methamphetamine, and  misdemeanor charges of possession of marijuana, criminal mischief and attempting to elude police. He was released on $77,000 bond. Glencoe Police Officer Zachary Allen tried to make a traffic stop on a vehicle April 18 for a traffic violation, DEU Deputy Commander Kevin Hassell said in a press release.
