Disaster Food Stamps for Bossier, Caddo, and Webster Parishes It was a rough February for many families in Northwest Louisiana. The winter storms caused panic and chaos and many families are still not fully recovered from the impact and damage that the unprecedented storms caused. Many of us have been left wondering, what now? I lost a fridge full of groceries. I am talking in the $150 range. I am forever grateful that although it was a huge hit for me, I didn t have a family relying on me to put food on the table. It s just me and my dog. What about the families who lost income and really took a hit during the storms? What about the families that lost hundreds of dollars worth of groceries?
