On Monday, August 6, The Two Harbors Public Library will be hosting two presenters on South Korea
The first presenter is Molly Guiney, a local high school graduate (2012), who will present her documentary on the Kwangju Massacre in South Korea, which advanced from the regional History Day Competition to finally place 4th in the State History Day Competition! As well as sharing her documentary, Molly will share insights from her studies and the History Day competition itself.

DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – The City of Duluth will hold a virtual public meeting Tuesday afternoon 4:00 to discuss plans for the third phase of the Cross City Trail.
City staff will review project information, answer questions, and obtain feedback from
participants about the project at the meeting.
The Cross City Trail Mini-Master Plan, completed in 2017, calls for a paved, separated pathway for non-motorized users connecting the Lakewalk in Downtown Duluth with the Munger Trail near the Lake Superior Zoo.
Phases 1, 2, and 4 of the Cross City Trail have now been built between the Lakewalk and Irving Park. The Phase 3 project is intended to establish a preferred route for the extension from Irving Park to Green Street.
Last year the Lake Superior Zoo opened their Nature based all day pre-school and are back up and ready to accept students for the new school year and also summer session. They will be hosting a virtual open house on January 30, 2021 from 1:30 – 2:30 p.m. Click here for more information and to sign up.

The Lake Superior Zoo School is open to children ages 33 months (fully potty trained) -5 years old located in the Twin Ports area. They will also accept families participating in the Child Care Assistance Program. These are full days Monday-Friday; 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. The School-year Session: Tuesday, September 7, 2021 – Thursday, June 9, 2022 with Summer Session Monday June 21, 2021 – Friday August 27, 2021.
