Assistant Professor of Journalism Angela McClister, along with Registered Nursing program Instructors Ashely Thiers and Brittany Williams were named 2020-21 Faculty Chairs of Excellence by Chattanooga State Community College.
Ms. McClister is an assistant professor of journalism in the Business Division’s Digital Media Design and Production program. Her primary teaching duties include courses in journalism, social media and media law. In addition, she serves as faculty adviser to Chattanooga State’s student newspaper, The Communicator, while also serving as State Adviser for the Tennessee Intercollegiate State Legislature (TISL) Media section.

Erlanger Trustees Approve Employee Raises, Management Incentive Pay, $50,000 Jackson Bonus Thursday, December 17, 2020
Erlanger Health System’s Board of Trustees on Thursday approved raises for eligible employees, and implemented an incentive plan payout for 93 managers for the previous fiscal year at a reduced amount. The board also approved enhancements to the existing 403(b) and 457(b) retirement plans, and approved the payout of a $50,000 performance bonus to CEO Dr. William Jackson from his original employment agreement.
The Board of Trustees voted unanimously to issue a raise for all eligible Erlanger employees. This will be the second across-the-board raise for associates under the Jackson administration, the first having occurred earlier this year in February.
