A Tennessee teen almost missed his high school graduation, but his nurses saved the day and gave him one of his own. A medical emergency kept Noah Keith from attending his commencement ceremony, but the nurses caring for him at the hospital did the next best thing.
They surprised him by putting together a special graduation at Erlanger Baroness Hospital in Chattanooga. The high school senior even got to wear his cap and gown while he was still a patient. His private ceremony included the traditional cap toss, as well as gifts, including a Yoda doll and basketball.

Noah may have missed walking across that stage with his peers, but he did get his diploma hours before they did at Grace Baptist Academy and his school’s Chairman

Nurses at Erlanger Baroness Hospital organized a graduation ceremony for one of their patients on May 21.
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. - When a medical emergency threatened to rob Noah Keith of his graduation day, the nurses at Erlanger Baroness Hospital came to the rescue.
They surprised Keith on Friday with his very own commencement ceremony allowing him to don his cap and gown while receiving his diploma hours before his peers graduated from Grace Baptist Academy.
