Palm Springs Aerial Tramway to open 7 days a week
The Palm Springs Aerial Tramway will move from a five-day to a seven-day operating schedule, and institute new hours of operation beginning Monday, May 10 officials said on Thursday.
Pandemic-related restrictions will remain in effect on the rotating cars that shuttle passengers from the desert to the San Jacinto Mountains.
“Since our reopening on February 18 after the COVID closure, we have operated on a reduced Thursday-through-Monday schedule,” Tramway General Manager Nancy Nichols said. “For the convenience and enjoyment of both local residents and our valley’s many visitors, we are delighted to be back to seven- day-a-week operations just in time for our summer season.”
