Description As Headquarters of the United Nations, the glass house on New York s East River has become instantly recognizable in photographs and drawings to millions of people worldwide. Although thousands of people visit this modern group of buildings each day, it is obvious that most of the world does not get to see the inside of the great meeting halls or the artefacts on display throughout the complex.
