Olam Food Ingredients releases its CFI Annual Progress Report with strong emphasis on social inclusion By Anthony Myers Olam Food Ingredients (OFI) said it remains a committed partner of Cocoa & Forests Initiative (CFI) and of the governments of Ghana and Cote d’Ivoire.
The cocoa supplier said it is seeing positive results from its work with the CFI, highlighted in its Annual CFI Progress Report.
It said progress achieved with the CFI over the last year regarding the aim to end deforestation in the cocoa supply chain includes the distribution and plant forest and fruit trees in Cote d’Ivoire and Ghana.

Populations of freshwater species have already declined by 84 percent on average since 1970, with degradation of rivers a leading cause of this decline.
