State Representative Priscilla Giddings (R-D7) announced last Friday, May 21, she has filed paperwork to run for the Republican nomination for Lieutenant Governor of Idaho.
âI am running for Lieutenant Governor because Idaho deserves to be represented by a proven conservative,â she stated in a prepared release. âIdahoans know what theyâll get with me, I have the record to prove it. The Idaho Falls Republican announced her candidacy at events in Idaho Falls, Boise and Coeur d Alene on Wednesday, confirming longstanding rumors that she would try to unseat incumbent Gov. Brad Little, a member of her own party.
