Court documents state that when Shawn Carter of Hagerman appeared via Google Meet at his arraignment in New Mexico’s Fifth Judicial District Court in Chaves County Monday, he pleaded not guilty to one count each of criminal sexual penetration in the first degree, child under 13, and criminal sexual contact with a minor in the second degree, child under 13; two counts of criminal sexual contact with a minor in the third degree, child under 13; as well as three counts each of enticement of a child and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
