New revelations show how Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, allegedly launders hundreds of millions of Naira of state cash through proxies and state officials, award contracts without due process, award contracts to non-legal persons, and wanton circumvention of procurement procedures.

Chairman and founder of COSCHARIS Group, Dr Cosmos Maduka has revealed how he empowered Dr Stanley Uzochukwu, Chairman and owner of Stanel Group with a business start-up capital of One Hundred and Fifty Million Naira (N150,000,000) and made him one of Nigerian youngest billionaire.
Maduka made the revelation while sharing in Uzochukwu’s success stories during the just concluded ‘Stanel Youths Empowerment Master Class’ held at Stanel Dome in Awka, the Anambra State capital recently where he was one of the Keynote Speakers.
He inspired the participants with Uzochukwu’s humility and submission of self to be mentored by Nigerian political and business leaders that have placed him (Stanley) where he is today.
The Niger State Governor, Alh Abubakar Sani Bello has said state governors have no powers to tackle the menace of kidnapping and banditry ravaging the country.

A total sum of Seven Hundred and Eight Million Naira (N708,000,000) has been released by the Osun State governor, Mr Gboyega Oyetola to offset pension arrears of retired officers of the state civil service.
The state Head of Service, Dr Festus Olowogboyega Oyebade made this known in a statement made available to newsmen in Osogbo on Friday.
The statement explained that the sum of Five Hundred and Eight Million Naira (N 508,000,000) of the released sum was approved for the payment of retired civil servants, while an additional sum of One Hundred and Fifty Million Naira (N 150,000,000) was approved for the payment of retirees under the contributory pensions scheme.
