Sir Richard Lexington Sutton, an 83-year-old Baronet, was attacked inside his £2m home in north Dorset, lon Wednesday night. A woman, believed to be his wife, also suffered knife injuries in the bloodbath that happened at Moorhill, a large detached property in the tiny hamlet of Higher Langham, near Gillingham, Dorset. Police received a call from a member of the public concerned for the welfare of the occupants of the house.

One of the UK s richest men has been stabbed to death.
Sir Richard Sutton, 83, was pronounced dead at a his mansion near Gillingham, Dorset, at 21:15 BST on Wednesday. A woman, in her 60s and believed to be his wife, was also stabbed and remains in a critical condition.
A 34-year-old man, from Gillingham, has been arrested on suspicion of murder.
He was stopped in a vehicle in the Hammersmith area of London and taken to hospital with injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening.

Police have launched a murder probe after one of the richest men in Britain died after being stabbed inside his £2million Westcountry mansion.
The Mirror reports that Sir Richard Lexington Sutton was found dead in the property in Higher Langham, north Dorset, on Wednesday night (April 7).
The 83-year-old Baronet and has been described as an old English gentry landowner with an estimated wealth of £301million.
