Washington Speech Students Heading to WMU for District Individual

The Washington High School speech team will be performing at the district individual contest tomorrow. The Washington students will be performing with Keokuk High School at Winfield-Mt. Union High School from 9 a.m.-noon. Due to the pandemic there are three options for contest participation: in-person at a local school, virtually at a school, or virtually through the Iowa High School Speech Association state office site. Spectators are allowed for the Winfield-Mt. Union contest but masks are required. The public is asked to use the flagpole adjacent entrance, and performances will be held on the second floor. The state individual contests are to be held from March 10th-19th, with no All-State Festival this year.
