In Iowa, where the political calendar is perpetually calibrated years ahead, Republicans are beginning to weigh their role in shaping the future of the party nationally after a tumultuous four years capped by an attack on the U.S. Capitol.
Former President Donald Trump, a Republican, exited the White House on Wednesday, ceding the Oval Office to Democratic President Joe Biden after months of obstruction.
