CLIVE, Iowa The death of a man in Clive Tuesday evening is believed to be accidental, according to the Clive Police Department.
A Facebook post from the department says officers were contacted around 10:30 a.m. Tuesday to conduct a welfare check on a man living in the 9100 block of Franklin Avenue.
Once at the scene, officers found the man had died inside the residence. Due to the condition of the decedent and items located in the residence, this was initially determined to be a suspicious death, says a release on the investigation.
