Indiana native Conor Daly will run a partial NTT IndyCar Series schedule in 2021 with Ed Carpenter Racing as teammate to owner/driver Carpenter and 2020 Rookie of the Year Rinus VeeKay.
Daly will drive ECR’s No. 20 Chevrolet in the series’ 13 road and street-course events. Carpenter will drive the No. 20 in the series’ four oval-track events, with Daly to wheel another ECR entry in the 105th edition of the Indianapolis 500 in May.

The East opener is set for Monday, February 8 at New Smyrna Speedway.
The highlights –
• The East series will have back-to-back races in Florida with the opener at New Smyrna followed by the second race of the season on Saturday, February 27 at Five Flags Speedway in Pensacola.
• Stand-alone East races will also be held on consecutive weekends at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway and Dover International Speedway in May, and a first-time event at Southern National Speedway on Saturday, June 12.
• The East season will conclude with three consecutive combination races with the ARCA Menards Series, at Iowa Speedway in July, The Milwaukee Mile in August, and the finale at Bristol Motor Speedway in September.
Riley Herbst joins Stewart-Haas for full XFINITY schedule December 10, 2020 at 11:31 AM
Stewart-Haas Racing (SHR) has announced that Riley Herbst will drive its No. 98 Ford Mustang during the 2021 NASCAR Xfinity Series season with primary sponsorship from Monster Energy.
Herbst is a 21-year-old racer from Las Vegas whose sophomore year in the Xfinity Series will come with the same team that in 2020 won a series-best nine races and led more than 1,000 laps with driver Chase Briscoe. Crew chief Richard Boswell, who has been a part of SHR’s No. 98 team since its inception in 2017, will continue in his role with Herbst.
“Being on a team with such a strong run of success is the kind of opportunity every driver wants,” Herbst said. “Expectations are definitely high, but the highest expectations are the ones I’ve set for myself.
