UL earns top rating in influential global ranking system

It s earned a five-star rating in the influntial global ranking, the only university to achieve this in 2021. The system launched in 2009 assesses higher education institutions via a rigorous and independent data collection process and analysis of performance metrics by QS. UL earned the highest five-star rating in areas incuding Teaching, Employability, Research, Internationalization, Facilities, Innovation, and Inclusiveness. UL joins an exclusive group of universities worldwide to receive the overall five-star status in the ranking, which is considered one of the most influential and credible ratings for universities globally.

Limerick St Patrick s Festival returns with a line-up of virtual events Reporter: );   ); LIMERICK people at home and abroad are being invited to mark St Patrick s Day by taking part in this year s virtual Limerick St Patrick’s Festival. Limerick City and County Council, with the support of Fáilte Ireland, has created a festival programme of events and fun family content that will be broadcast online and on social media on March 17. The headline event is Wild Atlantic Edge – Music, Conversations and Songs from Limerick City. Working in partnership with Dolans, the event will feature some of Ireland’s most celebrated musicians including Sharon Shannon, Hermitage Green, MuRli, Emma Langford and a host of surprise special guests.
