Latvia Lifts Entry Requirements for Vaccinated Travellers June 17, 2021 Latvia started to permit citizens from the European Economic Area, European Union, UK, Switzerland and third countries, to enter its territory restriction-free since June 16, even for non-essential purposes, provided that they obtain a digital COVID-19 certificate confirming that they have been vaccinated or recovered from the disease, the country’s government has announced. The Baltic country approved the changes to Cabinet Regulation No 360, “ Epidemiological safety measures to limit the spread of Covid-19 infection”, previously proposed by the Ministry of Transport, which permits the abolishment of requirements such as testing and quarantine imposed by Latvian authorities in order to halt the further spread of the virus, SchengenVisaInfo.com reports.
