High Wycombe men sentenced after breaking into tattoo parlour

File photo Two men have been sentenced after they broke into a High Wycombe tattoo parlour. Officers were called to the parlour, in Totteridge Road, just after 3am on December 4, 2018, where Mitchell Vella, 19, of Millbrook Close, and Maccauley Lo, 23, of Rennie Close, both in High Wycombe, broke in. A door panel was damaged to get access and officers arrested Vella inside the property, while Lo was arrested nearby with the help of a dog unit. Nothing was stolen during the incident, police said. Two weeks’ earlier, on November 1, 2018, Lo forced entry into a residential property in Disraeli Crescent in High Wycombe, stealing foreign currency and a digital camera.

Court date set for alleged High Wycombe election fraudster

A trial date has been reveald for Israr Rashid, who faces charges of election fraud. An alleged election fraudster who won a High Wycombe by-election and was suspended from the Labour party is set to go on trial in Aylesbury. Israr Rashid, 41, of Hobart Close was suspended from the party days before the Totteridge and Bowerdean by-election in February 2019, which he won, taking 40.8 per cent of the votes. A trial is now set to take place at Aylesbury Crown Court on January 10, 2022, where Mr Rashid will face charges of conspiracy to defraud the electoral services manager at Wycombe District Council and two counts of committing, aiding, abetting, counselling or procuring in the commission of voting by post as some other person.

Chesham drug dealer after found in possession of heroin

Mohammed Iqbal, aged 52 of Bellingdon Road, Chesham, Buckinghamshire, was stopped on February 3 following a warrant. He was then arrested in Chesham where he was found to be carrying a quantity of heroin, a mobile phone, and an amount of cash. Iqbal was sentenced at Aylesbury Crown Court on April 27 after pleading guilty to one count of possession with intent to supply heroin at the same court on February 4. PC Sarah Lansley based at Amersham police station, said: “I am satisfied that Iqbal has been convicted and sentenced for possession with intent to supply. “We are committed to tackling those who seek to make a profit from drugs and will investigate and bring offenders before the courts to face justice.
