Luxaviation creates new sustainability role Yves Le Marquand Luxaviation Group has created a new head of Sustainability role to position sustainability as a “cornerstone” of the groups ’corporate strategy. Patrick Hansen, group CEO, said: “We are committed to creating added value for our customers, employees and investors and do so in full consideration of our responsibilities toward the environment and society. Our long-term business prospects, and those of our clients, are tied to a sustainable planet.” In 2007 the Luxaviation Group partnered with MyClimate to become one of the first private jet operators to offer a carbon offset programme. Since then, LuxAviation has added electrified ramp vehicles, explored the use of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) and digitised processes to reduce paper waste.
