Bangladesh pace bowling coach Ottis Gibson will not be available in the upcoming three-match ODI series against Sri Lanka, said a Bangladesh Cricket Board official on Wednesday.
Gibson went back to England on leave straight from Sri Lanka after guiding the pace bowlers in the just concluded two-match Test series that Bangladesh lost by 0-1 margin against the hosts.

Bangladesh’s Shuvagoto Hom certainly looked uncomfortable in the nets facing those odd deliveries that were rising from the back of a length.
Bangladesh head coach Russell Domingo was watching from close quarter after bowling coach Ottis Gibson instructed Jofra Archer aka Ramjan Ali to bowl little short stuff to welcome him (Shuvagoto) in the national nets.

Former national skipper Khaled Mahmud had a busy day at the office on Friday. The 49-year old was seen roaming around the field to understand the current pulse of the dressing room as few members of Bangladesh preliminary Test squad completed an optional training session at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium on the same day.
Mahmud, the current Bangladesh Cricket Board director, has been made head of the delegation of the national cricket team and he will accompany the team in their forthcoming Sri Lanka tour for the two-match Test series.
BCB had several reasons to make Mahmud the team leader for the series and the key one was to bring back the confidence in the team that was missing in their last three series that prompted them to lose those so badly.
