If you buy direct from Wyze, you ll pay $19.99 for the Wyze Cam V3. As with the last version, you might have to pay a little more if you buy from other retailers. Open the box and you ll find the cube-shaped camera, power adapter, an outdoor-rated flat power cable that s 6 feet long, a wall mount plate, screw kit, and mounting tape. The base can be screwed into a wall or ceiling, attached magnetically, or even fixed with tape.
The Wyze Cam V3 has the same cute boxy look as its predecessor. It s a rounded white plastic cube and the base folds out of the bottom and can rotate, enabling you to set any position you want. This time around, because it s water-resistant (IP65), there s a short power cable permanently attached to the back of the camera with a covered connector to slide the power cable into.
