Capitol Hill, Monrovia – Members of the House of Representatives have finally punished Rep. Yekeh Y. Kolubah of the opposition Collaborating Political Parties (CPP) for allegedly raining insults on President George Weah.
The House on Tuesday voted to suspend Rep. Kolubah for 16-session days (two months) and to withhold his salary and all other benefits during the time of suspension.
The decision was based on the recommendations by the Committee on Rules, Order and Administration which was contained in a report submitted to plenary.

MONROVIA – The Secretary-General of the Council of Patriots, a political pressure group, Mulbah Yorgbor, has said only Alexander Cummings’ Alternative National Congress (ANC) can salvage Liberia from the current economic meltdown and as such he should be given the chance to lead the country in the 2023 presidential elections.
Yorgbor said he has always viewed the ANC as an institution founded on the principles of providing genuine democratic and practical transformational leadership and accountability.

MONROVIA – Former Bomi County Senator Sando Dazoe Johnson has attributed the prolonged lack of foreign direct investments in Liberia to the ‘politically compromised justice system’ that has been cherished and harbored under the Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC) led government of President George Manneh Weah.
Since the inception of the Weah led-administration in January 2018, Liberia and its citizens continue to witness and experience foreign-direct investment nightmare, with either foreign companies or concessionaires showing little or no real interest in investing in the post conflict nation.
Introduction
The democratic political battle to give an early peaceful retirement to President Weah in 2023, requires all hands on deck; we mean clean hands, not hands tainted with corruption or any form of sexual impropriety. In this call for democratic and peaceful change, the Collaborating Political Parties, its partisans and sympathizers are under intense scrutiny by critical thinkers and other Liberians yearning for a peaceful change in government.
