Democrats Push for Censorship of Conservative News Outlets

In a tactic similar to what you might read about in early 1930 s Germany, two United States representatives are applying pressure to cable carriers to censor conservative networks like Fox News and Newsmax by removing them from their line-up. That s right, members of the United States government are openly seeking to silence the most basic tenets of the First Amendment: free speech and freedom of the press. According to Breitbart, Reps. Anna Eshoo (D-CA) and Jerry McNerney (D-CA), both senior Democrats on the House Energy and Commerce Committee, sent letters to numerous cable, satellite, and video streaming companies, asking them if they planned to continue carrying the conservative networks. These two left-wing representatives said Fox News, Newsmax, and One America News Network (OANN) spread misinformation primarily because the reporting doesn t fall in line with their liberal way o

“Mr. Speaker Democrats won the House by the slimmest of margins in November: a mere five seats and 32,000 votes nationwide.
Their victory in the other branches was also tight.
Usually, when one party has a tiny majority, they recognize that governing requires compromise.
Not this majority.
Less than two months into controlling the House despite promising to solve problems and restore democracy Democrats have proven that their primary goal is not governing, but grievance the politics of censorship, not common ground.
In January, they eliminated the Motion to Recommit the last chance for the minority to improve legislation without a single Republican vote.

A devastating Saturday report in The Washington Post revealed that the rise of freshman Rep. Madison Cawthorn (R-NC), a right-wing media star, has been fueled by his willingness to distort aspects of his life story and his ability to dodge reports of sexual misconduct. But that story has received scant attention on right-wing cable news networks, which have continued to host and toast him without mentioning it.
The Post reported that a key biographical claim the 25-year-old congressman used in his campaign that a car wreck that left him partially paralyzed had prevented him from attending the Naval Academy was false; Cawthorn had actually been rejected before the collision. It also debunked his past assertions that he had been “declared dead” at the scene and that the friend who had been driving the car at the time had abandoned him.
