United Arrows Birkenstock Arizona Big Buckle Black Silver

In this Article Japan’s UNITED ARROWS has been running up the numbers this season in terms of its exclusive footwear releases, and now it’s clearing out space for another bespoke offering with the folks over at Birkenstock. Together, the two parties follow up on its collaboration with KEEN to join hands on a clean variation of the Arizona entitled the “Big Buckle” variation. This newest take is understated in every sense of the word. The dual-strapped uppers are manufactured with smooth black leather materials, and come fastened with a pair of oversized buckles on each foot, all of which are given with metallic silver finishes. The instep also sees through to a stealthy backdrop, but ushers in a notes of contrasting due to the pure white Birkenstock branding and sizes that are situated towards the center. Riding down underneath all of that is a full EVA foam outsole that continues the pair’s darker motif with the all-black aesthetic.

Have the Keen x Beams Uneek Shoes Already Won Summer?

In this is a golden age of footwear, this halcyon epoch that allows cowboy boots, bondage sandals, trail-runners and brutalist loafers to live in harmony, there must be room for a woven sandal/shoe thing that you can wear in a river, right? Predominantly, Keen has been making variations on the theme of “comfortable adventure shoe” since 2003, and after almost two decades of R&D, the product range is broad – everything from leather hiking boots to flip flops. But the star of the show is the Uneek, a kind of loosely woven trainer that is at once lightweight, breathable and, to be honest with you, extremely vibey. Beyond the obvious outdoor appeal, the Uneek has a kind of terrace-culture vibe, too. Like you could wear them to QPR away and it would be fine. It’s why Keen is stocked at Cotswold Outdoor
