UK police accused of inhumane tactics on pro-Palestinian protesters

A pro-Palestine activist group on Monday accused British police of using inhumane tactics to end its ongoing protest for the past six days at a drone factory in Leicester which they say is producing drones for Israel,
Anadolu Agency reported.
The UK-based Palestine Action occupied the roof of the Elbit-Thales UAV Tactical Systems drone factory in Braunstone Town since May 19 in a bid to disrupt the production at the factory.
LONDON: Police in the UK are holding six protesters arrested after they scaled the roof of a factory that Palestinian activists claim manufactures Israeli arms.
Protest organizers, Palestine Action group, said its members had been held more than 24 hours after the protest at the UAV Engines plant in the West Midlands of England, which is owned by Israeli company Elbit Systems UK.
Police said there had been “substantial damages” to the building during the protest on Tuesday.
