Eco Wave Power and Queen Mary University of London Awarded a Grant by the Wohl Clean Growth Alliance News provided by Share this article Share this article STOCKHOLM, June 28, 2021 /PRNewswire/ Leading global wave energy developer Eco Wave Power (Eco Wave Power Global, Ticker Symbol: ECOWVE) and the UK Queen Mary University of London (QMUL), are pleased to announce the approval of a grant by the Wohl Clean Growth Alliance. The grant is awarded to the parties with the goal of promoting and facilitating the establishment of a long-term research collaboration between Professor Guang Li and Dr. Kamyar Mehran from Queen Mary University of London, and Eco Wave Power s engineering team. The research collaboration will focus on further development and improvement of the control system for the Eco Wave Power wave energy convertor, to enable a faster commercial rollout of the EWP technology.

I held a temporary lectureship in Comparative Politics at the University of Keele in 1987/88, before taking up a Lectureship in African History at Edinburgh. I was promoted to Reader in 2003 and Professor in 2005. I was the Director of the Centre of African Studies for ten years and was formerly co-Director of the Edinburgh International Development Centre.

February 2021 - New Wolverhampton date for British Art Show 9 - University of Wolverhampton

18/02/2021 Wolverhampton will now host British Art Show 9 (BAS9) in January 2022 after new dates for the touring exhibition were announced by organisers after consultation with the partner cities. The event – which is the biggest touring exhibition of contemporary art in the UK – will take place in the city between 22 January and 10 April 2022. Wolverhampton was due to host the opening of the exhibition in March 2021 however, due to the continuing impact of the Covid-19 pandemic and lockdown restrictions, the dates and order of the tour have been rescheduled. British Art Show 9 will now open in Aberdeen in July 2021. In Wolverhampton, British Art Show 9 will take place at Wolverhampton Art Gallery and the University of Wolverhampton School of Art.
