FoundOcean has secured an export contract to supply the grout for the foundations at a 100-turbine offshore wind farm off the coast of Taiwan.
The Scottish company received financial support from UK Export Finance (UKEF), Westminster’s export credit agency, to help secure the job.
The news was announced at FoundOcean’s headquarters in Livingston in central Scotland by the UK’s International Trade Minister, Graham Stuart. The job is expected to create 30 new jobs in Livingston.
FoundOcean will provide the foundation grouting to enable wind turbines to be secure to the seabed to form the wind farm. The project is expected to be able to produce over 1GW of power.

Scotland’s FoundOcean has secured a contract to provide foundation grouting for a 100-turbine offshore wind project in Taiwan.
The contract is expected to create 30 new jobs at the Livingston-based company.
FoundOcean won the contract after receiving financial support from UK Export Finance (UKEF), the UK government’s export credit agency.
UK’s International Trade Minister, Graham Stuart, visited FoundOcean to announce this export contract.
