The achievement by the trio of Qashqai, Juke and X-Trail has been made in the run up to next week s unveiling of the new third generation Nissan Qashqai to be built at the Japanese car giant’s Sunderland factory before reaching showrooms later this year. Sunderland, which Nissan has pledged to support long-term in the wake of Brexit, has already produced more than nine out of ten of the million crossovers sold in the the UK so far – comprising Qashqais and Jukes.
