But the mystery was laid to rest when James Kilpatrick commented on the post, telling people his farm nearby was being used as a test site for rockets for Norfolk based company Raptor Aerospace, which specialises in the design and development of suborbital rockets.
Raptor, which is based at the Scottow Enterprise Park, near the old Coltishall airbase, used the farm as it is close by.
They are designed to enter space and return to earth whilst conducting research and tests for a range of industries. They simulate the experience of space flight, so people can test the effects it would have on their material.

Private urban air mobility (UAM) provider Halo has become the launch customer for Embraer’s Eve electric vertical take off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft, after it ordered 200 examples.

MELBOURNE, Fla., June 1, 2021 /PRNewswire/ Eve Urban Air Mobility Solutions, Inc. (Eve) and Halo today announced a partnership focused on developing Urban Air Mobility (UAM) products and services in the United States and the United Kingdom. This partnership includes an order for 200 of Eve s electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft. Deliveries are expected to start in 2026. This order represents one of the largest in the UAM industry and secures Halo as the launch partner for Eve in both the U.S. and the U.K. markets.
Under the terms of this agreement, Halo, a leading premium helicopter travel provider in the U.S. and U.K. and the first global vertical lift provider, will work with Eve to develop a new eVTOL operation in both countries. Eve is an independent company formed by Embraer S.A. to accelerate the UAM ecosystem around the world.

Eve – Embraer’s urban air mobility arm – will work with Halo to bring UAM services to the UK and US.
Under the terms of this agreement, Halo will work with Eve to develop a new eVTOL operation in both countries.
