Matthew Bourne’s New Adventures is delighted to announce their latest venture, BOURNE TO DANCE, a podcast that will be available via Spotify, Apple Podcasts and Amazon Music launching on International Dance Day, Thursday 29 April 2021.
BOURNE TO DANCE offers listeners an exclusive insight into the world of dance from a variety of perspectives. Each episode will see New Adventures Resident Artist, Paul Smethurst interview people with a passion for dance who occupy a variety of roles within New Adventures and beyond. The first episode, an interview with New Adventures Artistic Director Sir Matthew Bourne, will be available from Thursday 29 April 2021. The Last Five Years at the Vaudeville Theatre in London’s West End

After a critically acclaimed run at Southwark Playhouse last year and a highly successful worldwide stream with stream.theatre, Jason Robert Brown’s Drama Desk Award-winning musical,
The Last Five Years, will play a limited season at the Vaudeville Theatre, previewing from 17 September, with an opening night on 23 September and running until 13 October 2021. Directed by Jonathan O’Boyle, Molly Lynch and Oli Higginson will reprise their roles as Cathy and Jamie. This will be the first time the musical will have had a significant run of length in the West End.

Samantha Shaw, 26, and Jennifer Brooke, 27, of Wimbledon, launched BOSS Acting School, which teaches children skills for both on stage and screen. Sam and Jenn launched the school in May 2020, with the aim to provide professional and fun training while exploring performing arts. BOSS was founded during the first national lockdown, which some might call crazy, they said. When the pandemic hit the acting industry went into meltdown and our passion felt unfulfilled. Like the rest of the country (and the world) we felt a little lost.
