Ansila Energy completes the acquisition of Hartshead Resources 03 Feb 2021 Ansila Energy (ANA) has announced that, following shareholder approval at its 2020 Annual General meeting (AGM) held on Friday 29 January 2021, it has successfully completed its transaction with the vendors of Hartshead Resources (Hartshead or HRL) to acquire the remaining 78.4% interest in Hartshead that it did not already own. As a result of the transaction Hartshead is now a wholly-owned subsidary of ANA, which is transformed into a new UK North Sea gas development company. The Company has issued a total of 1,000,000,000 new Ordinary shares to the vendors of Hartshead which are subject to voluntary and ASX escrow for 12 months as consideration for the transaction.

Sign Up Australia-listed Ansila Energy has completed a deal to buy the remaining 78.4% it didn’t previously own of North Sea minnow Hartshead Resources. Ansila, known as Pura Vida Energy until October 2019, said in December that the transaction would create a “new UK North Sea gas developer”. Manchester-based Hartshead has now become Ansila’s wholly-owned subsidiary.
