British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has accepted the invitation to attend India s Republic Day celebrations on January 26, UK Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab informed on December 15. I m pleased that PM Boris Johnson has invited PM Modi to join the UK-hosted G7 summit next year. UK PM Johnson has also accepted the very generous invitation to attend India s Republic Day celebrations in January, which is a great honour, Raab said during talks with India s Minister of External Affairs S Jaishankar.

British Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab confirmed on Tuesday that Prime Minister Boris Johnson will be the chief guest at India’s Republic Day celebrations on January 26. Though it was well known that a formal invitation had gone out, New Delhi had not officially confirmed it earlier.

Duing their wide-ranging talks, Jaishankar and Raab also discussed ways to enhance trade partnership which could be a stepping stone towards a future free trade agreement.

NEW DELHI: British Prime Minister Boris Johnson will visit India next month to attend the Republic Day celebrations as the chief guest, UK Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab announced on Tuesday after holding talks with External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar during which the two sides agreed on the key elements of an ambitious 10-year roadmap to further broaden ties, and also boost strategic cooperation in the Indo-Pacific region.

New Delhi: Britain’s Prime Minister Boris Johnson will be the chief guest at India’s annual Republic Day Parade in January 2021, the United Kingdom has confirmed.
During talks with External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar in New Delhi, visiting UK Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab confirmed that PM Johnson has accepted India’s invite to be the chief guest at the Republic Day Parade next month.
