Qualification & Eligibility Criteria for SSC Vacancy:
Minimum 55% aggregate marks in LLB Degree (three years professional after graduation or five years after 10+2 examination). The candidates should be eligible for registration as an advocate with Bar Council of India/State. Candidate should be from a College/University recognized by Bar Council of India.
A candidate must either be: (i) A citizen of India, or (ii) A subject of Nepal, (iii) A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka and East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India, provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii) and (iii) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India. Certificate of eligibility will, however, not be necessary in the case of candidates who are Gorkha subjects of Nepal.

The Second Conference of State Parties to the African Charter on the Values and Principles of Public Service and Administration (COSP II) ends today 29 April 2021 by Videoconference.
The main objective of the COSP II is to consolidate progress made since the first COSP and to foster cooperation and solidarity among State Parties in the implementation of the Charter.
In her remarks, H.E. Professor Sarah Anyang, Commissioner for Human Resources, Science and Technology, representing H.E. Amb. Bankole Adeoye, Commissioner for Political Affairs, Peace and Security, welcomed all Ministers and Delegates and thanked them for making time out of their busy schedules to be a part of the meeting which began on April 27th with the experts meeting. She further emphasized the importance of using the Charter in dealing with issues of public service and administration and ways of enhancing the domestication and implementation of the Charter. Tanzanian President Samia Suluhu Hassan on Wednesday evening ordered the release of 23 political prisoners who were detained for among other reasons, criticising the 2020 General Election in the country.
President Suluhu directed the countryâs Attorney General to withdraw the cases against the 23 with immediate effect.
Suluhuâs move comes two days after civil society groups under the umbrella of African Civil Society actors held a press conference in Nairobi on Tuesday where they called for the release of activists and journalists who were detained unlawfully by the previous regime.
This came as the Tanzanian President was on two-day State visit in Kenya.
